Tested the ability of the lens to slice focus at 2.8. Handheld with AS on. Front - Middle - Back small figures at 1 and 1/2 inch separation. Used in camera spot metering to focus on each item in turn. On camera flash was used. Raw to jpg with no manipulation. Great lens!
